Nice Guys Finishing Hard!: Revenge of the Nice Guy (Fathom 9)

By now you’ve been well acquainted with the following “Call to Arms” announcing the latest from Delta Quad resident producer/emcee, the infamous Fathom 9. The album, cleverly titled Revenge of the Nice Guy,, could easily be received as an autobiographical account of the emcee’s life. If you’ve ever felt like the odd man out or the ‘kicked while you’re down” cat, this album can undoubtedly been seen as your representative voice. But it’s oh so much more than that. This superbly executed conceptual album is relatable to any ear. You can easily get sweep by the melodious tune, Letter 2 Isis in once instance and in the very next second rock a mean head bang to No Hooks. This project has more of a personal imprint due in part to a majority of the beats being those of Fathom’s, outside of Gamma Declaration, which was created by local producer Empee. This project also marks sort of reuniting of the dangerous minds for Fathom and producer, MaxPtah. The production on this project is simply flawless. I must note that this album isn’t for the faint of heart, only true heads need listen. You won’t be disappointed. Album is slated for release November 5th.
