Memphis Musicians Stage Benefit for Haiti at The Center for Southern Folklore Saturday, February 06 2010, 6:00pm - 9:00pm "It's My Blood Down There" ImageThe global response these past few weeks to the devastation in Haiti has truly been impressive and inspiring. However, long after the media coverage moves on to the next big story, the need to send food, water and medical supplies to this poverty-stricken country will persist for weeks and months to come. That's why pianist Sidney Kirk and his wife, Virginia, are organizing a special gathering of Memphis musicians to raise money for this continuing effort. Start: 22:00
