MARCH 11th - 28th In celebration of Women's History Month, we stage scenes, soliloquies and songs to present an imaginative exploration of the Bard's women, from his celebrated leads (Rosalind, Juliet, and Lady Macbeth) to his lesser-known but no less intriguing ladies (such as Othello's Emilia and Henry VI's Joan). Shakespeare's female characters represent not only the many faces of womanhood; they illuminate the depth of human experience. For Tickets click the link below or call 901.525.0009 End: 23:59

The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater grew from the now fabled performance in March 1958, at the 92nd Street Young Men's Hebrew Association in New York. Led by Alvin Ailey and a group of young African-American modern dancers, that performance changed forever the perception of American dance. Today, led by Artistic Director, Judith Jamison, AAADT has gone on to perform for an estimated 23 million people in 48 states and in 71 countries on six continents, including two historic residencies in South Africa. AFRICA IN APRIL TAKEOVER!!! We present to you... WAHALA This years Africa in April celebrates the rich culture of Nigeria. Nigeria is the 7th largest oil country and home to Afro-Beat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Fela's music captivated audiences with his heavy political lyrics that spoke of Nigeria's corporate and government corruption. He used music as his weapon to fight back against the V.I.P.s (vagabonds in power) and I.T.T.s (International Thief Thief), thus making him the original "Black President" for the people. Start: 18:00
