R&B/Soul singer Jennifer Hudson came to prominence in 2004 as one of the finalists on the third season of the FOX reality television series American Idol.

She has since established herself as a Grammy-winning solo recording artist and film actress, starring in the 2006 motion picture Dreamgirls, for which she has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Her 2008 self-titled debut album went gold and spawned the number one single "Spotlight."

Robin Thicke won his first Grammy in 2004 for his collaborations on Usher's 2004 release Confessions. He performed as Thicke until 2005.

His 2007 album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke was certified Platinum by the RIAA and his third album, 2008's Something Else, debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 charts.
