Art Show: Inspired by Memphis Musicians @ Optimal Health Chiropractic
FROM DARLENE...I will be showing a series of ink and brush paintings inspired by Memphis musicians. Having grown up in a house with a bassist who has played with the likes of Issac Hayes and Al Green, I concluded that it's time to start a new series of images inspired by my father as well as an array of other talented and successful musicians who I used to think were simply calling the house. This series is painted with the ink that my father used to use to write out music that he arranged (that's waaaay back before computerized music composition!).
